What is GoTej and how does it work?
GoTej is a peer-to-peer delivery platform that connects people who need to send parcels (Senders) with travelers (Agents/Riders) heading in the same direction. Senders get faster, more affordable delivery, while Travelers earn money by utilizing their extra luggage space.
How do I become a Sender or a Traveler?
To send a package, download the GoTej app. To earn as a traveler, download the GoTej Rider app. Sign up, complete the verification process, and you're ready to start sending parcels or accepting delivery tasks.
Is my package safe with a traveler?
Safety is our top priority. All GoTej Riders (travelers) undergo a strict verification process before they can accept tasks. Additionally, you can track your shipment specifically through the app for peace of mind.
What items are prohibited from shipping?
For safety and legal reasons, we do not allow shipping of illegal items, hazardous materials, weapons, flammable goods, or perishable items that require special refrigeration not available in standard travel. Please refer to our Service Policy for a complete list of prohibited items.
How are shipping rates calculated?
Our rates are highly competitive and are determined based on the distance, package weight, and delivery urgency. By leveraging existing travel routes, we offer prices that are often more affordable than traditional courier services.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If you cancel before an agent accepts your task, you are eligible for a full refund. However, once an agent has accepted the task, the booking amount is generally non-refundable to compensate the traveler for their commitment. Please see our Cancellation Policy for full details.
How do refunds work if no agent is found?
If no agent accepts your delivery task within 2 hours, we automatically process a full refund of your booking amount. The funds usually reflect in your original payment method within 24 hours to 5 business days depending on your bank.
How do travelers earn money?
Travelers earn a base rate per kilometer depending on the type of delivery (Hyperlocal, Intercity, Interstate, etc.). We take a small platform commission, and the rest goes directly to you. Detailed earnings structures are available in our Rider Earnings & Payout Policy.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes! The GoTej app provides real-time updates so you can see the status of your delivery from pickup to drop-off.
